1. Introduction

Welcome to Tuitra.com. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Tuitra website and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Services.

2. Services description

Tuitra.com is an online platform that connects students with tutors for academic and competitive exam preparation. Services include, but are not limited to, live one-to-one classes, crash courses, long-term courses, and offline tutoring. We facilitate these services but are not responsible for the quality of the interactions between users.

3. User accounts

3.1. Eligibility: You must be at least 10 years old to create an account. Users under 10 may only use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for all activities conducted by the minor.
3.2. Account information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during registration and for keeping your account details updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.3. Account termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice.

4. User conduct

4.1. Prohibited uses: You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, to harass or abuse other users, or to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of Tuitra or others. Prohibited activities include:

  • Using the platform to promote spam or commercial activities outside of Tuitra.
  • Recording, distributing, or transmitting any class content without express written permission.
  • Using the platform to share or access any pirated or copyrighted material.
  • Sharing your account with any other person.
    4.2. Respectful communication: All users must treat tutors, students, and staff with respect. Abusive or violent behavior will result in immediate termination of the account without a refund.
    4.3. No independent solicitations: Tutors and students are prohibited from soliciting or making payments for services outside of the Tuitra platform. Any violation of this rule may lead to immediate termination of all accounts involved.

5. Payments and refunds

5.1. Pricing: The price of courses is subject to change at any time. The price at the time of purchase is the final price.
5.2. Payment processing: We use third-party payment processors to handle all transactions. We are not responsible for their security or practices.
5.3. Refunds: All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy. Refunds may be provided on a case-by-case basis, but are generally not available for violations of these Terms or for failure to attend a class without proper notice.

6. Intellectual property

6.1. Tuitra content: All content on the website, including text, graphics, logos, and course materials, is the property of Tuitra and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
6.2. Limited license to users: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written permission.
6.3. User-generated content: You grant Tuitra a royalty-free license to use any content you post on the platform, such as reviews or feedback, for business purposes, including marketing and promotion.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

7.1. No warranty: The Services are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. Tuitra does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations. We do not warrant that a student will achieve any particular result from using the Services.
7.2. Release of liability: Tuitra is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Services, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential. You agree to defend and indemnify Tuitra from any claims or demands arising from your use of the platform.
7.3. Third-party content: We are not responsible for any third-party links or content posted on the site. Any reliance on third-party content is at your own risk.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi.

9. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on the website. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
